What is Iboga?

The Root of Healing

Iboga is a sacred root from the jungles of Gabon, Central Africa, honored for countless generations by the Bwiti people. Known by the Bwiti as both a master healer and a teacher, Iboga helps us reach the roots of what needs healing, guiding through truth, clarity, and direct experience. Iboga offers a path back to the fullness of life.

The Provider

Guided with depth, care, and commitment—supporting an honest return to self, life, and truth.

Villi Sokku Iboga Provide

Villi Sokku

Villi Sokku is a traditionally trained Missoko Bwiti Iboga provider, having studied in Gabon under the 10th-generation Bwiti shaman, Moughenda Mikala. Villi has completed both levels of training — psycho-spiritual Iboga work and detox — allowing this work to be held with depth, care, and responsibility.

Each ceremony is approached with humility and commitment, grounded in tradition and a deep intention to guide others toward an honest relationship with life and oneself.

The Elders and mentors

This work is shaped and guided by the elders and mentors who have entrusted Villi Sokku with their knowledge, practice, and responsibility.

What is Bwiti?

Bwiti - The study of life

Bwiti is a traditional spiritual path originating deep in the jungles of Gabon. The word Bwiti means “the study of life,” and Iboga is the root that enables and deepens that study.

Within Bwiti ceremonies, Iboga is used as a sacred plant teacher, guiding participants toward truth, connection with their ancestors, and a deeper understanding of both themselves and life itself.
